We all know the vintage and hipster style took over 2013. In 2014 the take over is going to be a little different. Instead of wearing the same frame of fake glasses as everyone in you're neighborhood coffee shop matching flannel as the guy at the check out in barnes and noble its important to be different from those who are trying to be different.
Instead of going for the look that will keep peoples faces straight go for the look that will make the jaw drop. Pick out pieces that can go with things you already have in your wardrobe instead of buying the outfit right off the mannequin. Flea markets are the place to be this year. Where you will find things you've never seen before.
Fringe, used Birkenstocks, Kimono inspired cardigans and Mexican flower dresses are exciting new pieces to look to add to your closet this spring. Pieces that are works of art and make you feel beautiful wearing.

Find it in you.

Runnin wild coast to coast only thinking about myself. Distance on my mind you in my heart.

How far can it take us.  How far can one stretch.  How long will the rip be.

Paths separate then cross, intertwine then pull apart.

In the end what can we do for ourselves while thinking about each other.

Pianos become teeth. Notes become words. In this great future, you can't forget your past.

Humming along.

Because playing it by ear is life's motto. Get your own.

Boredom Made Me Bad.

Trapped by quiet desperation. Being in the right place at the wrong time. A dynamic so indescribable, everything just fit.

Stuck in a place, frozen in time. Doing anything possible to break out. Boredom consuming, controlling, confusing. Sick of standing still and looking pretty.

We are dreamers of a new day. Waking up in last nights clothes. Red eyes and faded black eyeliner. Hair piled on top of our heads, mouths dry. Chipped nail polish and lost earrings.

We become nocturnal. Bored with natural light. Exhilarated by flashing lights and smoky fires. Doing anything for a quick fix; something to make us feel. Not worrying about our future. Making too many new mistakes to be concerned with out past.

People can say you've changed and we know why. "The boredom made me bad" Is how we reply.

Live fast.
Die young.
Be wild.
And have fun.

No Matter What.

Never being able to stay in one spot for to long. Afraid to commit. Afraid to be tied down.

I dont get it. No one does.

Illusions seem real. Reality slips away. Out grown the places we've grown up in. Where to go next is the real question.

No matter how old we get, how far apart we are, we will always be.  The ups and the downs seem to bring us closer. Loneliness can eat us from the inside out. No matter what we won't be alone. Always by each others side, no matter what.

But I won't be free,
'til I've made peace with never knowing,
What went wrong and was the fault in me.
I've been guarded long enough.

Escape from Humanity.

To not feel. Block everything out. Live the life you want to live. Feel only what you want to feel.

Do the highs out weigh the lows?

Is it fair that we let others dictate how we feel so easily?

So many uncertainties, it's hard to keep track of what you actually know.

Life's just one big game. If you can play it and not get played you win. Sacrifice others feelings to keep your own safe is how to keep your self intact.

It's amazing how someone can make you feel bad for something they did to you.

Watch your words. People aren't as willing to forgive as some.

Guess that something's never change.
Never change, never change just when you think they'll never change.
Never change, never change and then they change just when you think they'll never change.

That should have been goodbye.

Over and over again. Second chances, said to be new beginnings. The problem is in forgetting.

We came from a place of vulnerability. Where. How. Why. Thoughts that occur daily. Wanting something so badly, something to feel.

Similar in thought, differences in the eyes.

Coasting through, exploring new territory. Uncertain of how this new way is going to turn out. Questioning everything, knowing nothing.

Asking "what if?" to often.

It is sadder to find the past again and find it inadequate to the present than it is to have it elude you and remain forever a harmonious conception of memory. -F. Scott Fitzgerald
